Experience
I have several years of teaching experience. Currently, I am a first grade teacher at a charter school in Ft. Worth. Next year, I plan to begin teaching the second grade. I also have had experience teaching at a college preparatory school in Houston in addition to many other private schools. Along with my work experience, I also am a mother to two wonderful teenagers. In my home life and work life, I am enthusiastic and excited about learning. I believe that I am blessed to be in the position that I am in because I absolutely love doing what I do for a living. As for my teaching style, I believe in creating a safe and friendly environment for my students. I want them to feel at ease while working with me. I want them to feel comfortable with taking risks. While I put expectations on my students, they should never feel ashamed to ask questions or to ask for help. Currently, I am offering my services in writing, math, and reading. My goal is for each one of my students to end up having a passion and love for the material they're learning. I also want my students to be confident so that they can achieve great things and excel in their problem areas.
